"GONE TOO SOON"
The world as lost a loving father, husband, brother and uncle. Our beloved uncle was a very charismatic and charming man. He lived life by the moment and was never afraid to take any risks. He loved and cared for his family unconditionally. He treated all his nieces and nephew as his own. He loved his wife Jenny and children: Eric and Cassandra wholeheartedly. My uncle had a heart of gold his goal in life was to live happily and keep the family together.
There are countless of fond memories of my dear uncle. We remember sleeping over his house and waking up to his special breakfast: toast, eggs, ham and milk tea. We will miss his voice, his smile and his laughter. My uncle loved Andes mint candies and peanut snacks mixes. He also loved Italian food and cooked a delicious seafood pasta. We will miss his presence during family dinners. He was always joking around and making sure everyone was having a good time.
We are in a state of shock. We miss him dearly. He made such an impact in ALL of our lives. He was the glue that stuck everyone together. He was able to unite all of his siblings: one brother and three sisters.
His lifelong partner his wife our Aunt Jenny loved him unconditionally. They were partners in life, always there for one another. They were inseparable and it is difficult to see our Aunt's pain. The pain Cassandra and Eric is experiencing is shared by all the cousins, all of the nieces and nephews.
Life will never be the same. But life must go on. He will want it to...we must do it for him.
Our uncle is not gone... his legacy will live on... we will continue to live on for his loving memory.
Uncle Phillip: this is not a goodbye we will reunite with you in time. We love you! You were gone too soon.

Our main man
Uncle Yang was truely the one who was able to bring this family together. Without him, we would be in different parts of the world right now. He was an amazing guy who loves to sing, loves to make jokes, and loves to wipe his half-bald head.
I still remember when I was four, he came to Macau to visit my family. Since everyone was at work, I was the only one to bring him around the city. we held hands tightly hoping not to lose one another in the crowded streets of Macau. He got me candies and I got him fish balls. We sang kareoke together and he would correct me on my mispronounced Mandarin. He is a father to all, cared for every one of us, and loved us without a doubt. He's living through the memories he left with all of us. Instead of crying with sorrow, I'm going to cry with happiness having him in my life and I got to be his niece and his friend
My uncle-My hero
We were still in Jersey, I was learning to write and my mother was forcing me to write with my RIGHT hand when I am naturally a LEFT. My mother was hitting my hand so hard with chopsticks and I was crying. Then Uncle Phillip came to our house and yelled at my mother. Telling her I was born as a LEFTIE and she better stop hitting me. My uncle was my hero that day. He saved my life.
My Papa Fu
He was my Papa Fu and since a young child that's how I knew him. He was like a father to me and to most of us. His big heart and sense of humor lit up the entire room. His presence was always outstanding and noticeable. Although he is not physically here with us anymore, his spirit will always live on. He was an amazing man while he was on earth and now heaven needs him back to do more great things up there. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU PAPA FU!!!!

Fond Memory
My uncle had this hat we called the "old man's" hat and he wore it EVERYWHERE. The funny thing was that he also included a paper towel because its head would sweat.
